Muckross Abbey
Muckross Abbey Killarney 1448 AD, one of Ireland's best preserved Abbey's and well worth a visit, beautiful Cloisters and a Yew tree in the centre which some say its older than the Abbey itself. Donal McCarthy funded the building of the Abbey, his headstone among other well known Kerrymen can be seen in the Abbey and on the grounds. It is open to the public and free to stroll around and enjoy this magnificent Abbey.

Dinis Cottage Killarney
Dinis Cottage tea rooms and the "Meeting of the Waters" where the three Lakes in Killarney's waters meet a very scenic area, if you are after 2pm you will see all the Gap of Dunloe Tours boats pass gently down under the Old Weir Bridge and through the Meeting of the Waters, into the Muckross Lake before they enter the Lower Lake and head to Ross Castle.  The staff at Dinis Cottage are well renowned for friendliness and service by locals and visitors alike.

O'Sullivan's Cascade
O'Sullivan's Cascade, a quiet area of the National park, you can get a private boat trip from Ross Castle to get here or you can drive to "Sweeney's end of the lake and walk the looped walk its about 10 km and rises a nice bit so you will get great views of Innisfallen Island and the Lakes of Killarney.

Queens Drive, upper carpark at Torc
Upper Carpark at Torc is accessed by the Queens Drive, its a great place to start climbing Torc Mountain, The Devil's Bit or the Old Kenmare road.
