Sunset Beach on Hawaii's North Shore

In February not only do you get great surf but you will also see the Humpbacks (Whales)
jumping out of the Ocean all over the place.
When surfing if you pop your ears just under the surface you will here the Cow
Whale and Calf very clearly as if they were next to you

State Park North Shore Hawaii

There is a Man on this beach and he is so small to view, I can honestly say the is the biggest Surfing wave I ever photographed. I have seen bigger non surfing waves on Ireland's West Coast. It was taken in Kauai the most Northerly of the Hawaiian Islands. ( The most beautiful place on Earth next to Killarney of course )

Big Swells !! in Kauai not for Swimmers

Lanzarote has excellent Surf, there is a Cement Ship sunk in the Bay
a great place to take off as ugly as it is.
The waves are big and clean !! Watch out for the Rocks !!
