The Dog and the Wetsuit

After a Day's great surfing with some friends in Brandon Bay we left the water and made our way to our cars and started to change out of our wetsuits. It was a cold day but the waves were so good we stayed in longer than normal. Some of our party had rented Wetsuits and Boards locally. Out of the blue one friend told me he had pissed himself on one (big) wave, and I responded quickly saying if he had Peed in the suit he would have to buy it as where he rented it there is a small dog who smells the suites when returned. He asked how dose the dog know if I peed in the wetsuit and what dose he do. So I told him if you peed in you wetsuit the Small Dog will come over and sniff the suit and if you peed he will wag his tail. When he wags his tail the owner will say you peed in the suit and you will have to buy it as the sign clearly states " you pee in the suit you buy it".My friend was very unhappy with this situation for some reason !! as though he really peed in his wetsuit.

When we arrived where he hired the suit there was a little dog with a short tail running around the Rental units, this was perfect for my tale. It was so funny to see his face as he did believe he would be caught out. I could see that he was very nervous and unhappy to see this Dog and looked very anxious. When the Guy he had rented the suit off came over to give him his Credit Card slip back on returning the wet suit, my friend was about to spill the beans as the Dog was now smelling the wetsuit and was wagging his tale. I had seen this Dog earlier and he was always wagging his tale near people.

Straight away my friend was so embarrassed and was about to confess to peeing in the Wetsuit when I intervened saying "Next you will tell us you peed in the suit ? " and everybody laughed. My friend's laugh was with relief and mine was butterflies in my stomach for a Half an Hour as it was so funny.

The moral of the story is:
" When you rent a wetsuit don't pee in it and hope no one else has "
